IBM’s Open P-TECH features premier learning content from Coca-Cola HBC’s #YouthEmpowered. #YouthEmpowered is Coca-Cola HBC’s flagship programme aimed at supporting young people and increasing their employability. Sign up at the link about and support your transition from school to meaningful employment, while learning how to adapt to changing work environments. Additionally, #YouthEmpowered offers mentoring sessions alongside Coca-Cola HBC senior managers. As a result, programme participants are also able to build professional and personal networks.

Is there a connection to Nigeria with this program?

Yes, this collaboration is being led in Nigeria by Nigerian Bottling Company Ltd or NBC. NBC is a growth-focused consumer packaged goods business and the strategic bottling partner of the Coca-Cola company in Nigeria. NBC has come a long way in Nigeria, growing with the country. This year, NBC will celebrate its 70th year of operating in Nigeria. The company was incorporated in November 1951 with manufacturing operations kicking off in 1953 from the basement of Mainland Hotel in Oyingbo, Lagos.
